Papa Ramon's HopeKids Children's Home
When I visited Opuwo, Kunene region, Northern Namibia back in June 2021 I found two possible locations for our children's home:
Option 1: Hotel pension Le Manoir (see many pictures here)
It has all facilities and infrastructure needed to start right away with a children's home. Water supply, electricity, kitchen facility, dining area, dormitory rooms, all fully equipped with furniture, shower, toilets, spacious compound for kids activities, etc. This fenced compound is located a few miles outside the city, away from the bars, loud music, drunk people, and curious tourists. A great place to establish a children‘s home.
Option 2: Church of the Nazarene guesthouse(s)
Three potential dormitory rooms and a so far unfinished little house can be rented. An advantage is that this place is located at a fenced church compound and a spontaneous invitation of children in the surrounding triggered 200+ attendees for my children's ministry events (Jesus parties). That’s a nice crowd for my daily teaching.
I wish I would be able to receive sufficient funds for option number 1, but the 100000 Euro (about US $118,000) purchase price is far outside my usual donation range. But I am not giving up and if it is god's will something miraculous will happen. Feel free to contribute and provide financial support to establish a great children's home.
